Douglas O. Peeno, M.D., FACOG
Following high school in Ludlow, Kentucky, Dr. Peeno graduated with Honors from
Georgetown College with a Bachelor of Arts. He then spent three years in
graduate studies, with an emphasis on counseling, from the Southern Baptist
Theological Seminary in Louisville. Subsequently, he received a Doctor of
Medicine from the University of Louisville. The University of Louisville
remained his home during the next four years of specialty training in
Obstetrics and Gynecology. In 1980 he joined Dr. Zegart in practice.
Dr. Peeno is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a Clinical
Instructor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Louisville. He is
a member of the Kentucky Medical Association, the Greater Louisville Medical
Society, the former Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Norton Hospital, and
a past president of the Louisville Ob-Gyn Society.
Dr. Peeno now limits his practice to office gynecology where he has a special
interest in menopause, contraception and pre-conceptual counseling. Dr. Peeno
is married, and with his wife Donna, has a combined family of one son, six
daughters, and three grandchildren. He greatly enjoys traveling and big game
hunting, especially in Africa.

Eugene C. Dorf, M.D., FACOG
Dr. Dorf is from Austin, Texas, and graduated from the University of Texas with
High Honors. He graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas,
and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Texas Medical
Center in Houston, Texas. While serving in the United States Air Force in
Europe and in the United States for nine years, he developed a special interest
in laser and laparoscopic surgical techniques, menopausal and adolescent
gynecology.
Dr. Dorf is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and has voluntarily
recertified since 2003. Dr. Dorf is a Fellow of the American College of
Obstetrics and Gynecology, a member of American Association of Gynecologic
Laparoscopists, Kentucky Medical Association, the Greater Louisville Medical
Society, and a Clinical Instructor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the
University of Louisville.
Dr. Dorf is involved in all aspects of the practice including obstetrics. Dr.
Dorf is married with 2 children and has a tremendous interest in the arts. Much
of his free time is spent as an actor, promoting the arts in Louisville, and
participating in several committees including fund raising efforts for the
artistic community.

Divya B. Cantor, M.D., FACOG
Dr. Cantor arrived in Louisville at 5 years of age from India after a short
stay in Buffalo, NY. A graduate of the University of Louisville, she obtained
High Honors in her double major of Biology and Political Science. She went on
to graduate with a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Louisville, where
she received the Dr. Samuel S. Gordon Award for excellence in Obstetrics and
Gynecology. Dr. Cantor completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at
St. John’s Medical Center in St. Louis and then moved to San Diego, California
where she initially practiced.
Dr. Cantor is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and has voluntarily
recertified since 2002. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics
and Gynecology. Dr. Cantor is a member of the Kentucky Medical Association,
Greater Louisville Medical Society and American College of Physician
Executives. She is a Clinical Instructor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the
University of Louisville.
Dr. Cantor is involved in all aspects of the practice including obstetrics and
is the administrative managing partner. Her clinical interests include
adolescent gynecological care and menopausal management. Dr. Cantor is married
with a son and stepdaughter and enjoys outdoor activities including skiing,
biking, and triathlons. She is very active at Louisville Collegiate School as a
parent volunteer.

Stephen P. Lebder, M.D., FACOG
Dr. Lebder is originally from Syracuse, New York. After attending high school
in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he attended Ohio University and graduated Summa
Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in
Biomedical Science. Dr. Lebder went on to medical school at Ohio State University,
graduating Cum Laude. Subsequently, he completed his residency at the
University of Louisville in Obstetrics and Gynecology, where he was awarded the
Golden Hands award for excellence in surgery and was the administrative chief
resident during his final year in residency.
Dr. Lebder is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of
the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the
American Medical Association, Kentucky Medical Association, as well as the
Greater Louisville Medical Society. Dr. Lebder is a Clinical Instructor in
Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Louisville.
Dr. Lebder practices all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology and his specific
interests include laparoscopic surgery and minimally invasive surgery, urinary
incontinence, and cervical dysplasia. Outside of the practice of medicine, Dr.
Lebder enjoys traveling, sports, and weight training.

Jeremy
J. Scobee, M.D., FACOG
A native of Louisville, Dr. Scobee received a Bachelor of Science in Biology
with Highest Honors from Murray State University. He then graduated from the
University of Louisville with a Doctor of Medicine, Magna Cum Laude. He
completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of
Louisville where he served as administrative chief resident in his final year.
Dr. Scobee is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of
the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a Clinical Instructor
in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Louisville. Dr. Scobee is
also a member of the American Medical Association, Kentucky Medical
Association, and Greater Louisville Medical Society.
Dr. Scobee is involved in all aspects of the practice including obstetrics. His
clinical interests include multi-fetal pregnancies, cervical dysplasia, and
minimally invasive surgeries for the treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding.
Dr. Scobee is married and enjoys spending his free time reading, traveling and
running. He is active in his church community at St. Agnes.

Angela K. Singla, M.D., FACOG
A native of Louisville, Dr. Singla graduated from Northwestern University with
a Bachelor of Arts in Religion. She attended medical school at the University
of Louisville, graduating Cum Laude. She then completed an Obstetrics and
Gynecology residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Before returning
to Louisville to join our practice, Dr. Singla worked as a Clinical Instructor
at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago.
Dr. Singla is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a Fellow of
the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is an Assistant Clinical
Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Louisville. She is
a member of the American Medical Association, the Kentucky Medical Association,
and the Greater Louisville Medical Society.
Dr. Singla has a special interest in international health and has volunteered
her medical services in Belize. She is involved in all aspects of the practice
including obstetrics. Dr. Singla is married and has a daughter and in her free
time enjoys gourmet cooking, contemporary fiction, and hiking.

Kenneth N. Zegart, M.D., FACOG, Emeritus
After 37 years of serving the Louisville community, Dr. Zegart retired from the
practice of obstetrics and gynecology in 2005
He earned both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of
Michigan, and then went to the Philadelphia General Hospital for his internship
and residency. In 1968, Dr. Zegart returned to his hometown of Louisville and
founded the practice that would eventually become Louisville OB/GYN, PSC. He
became very active in the medical community by serving on boards and committees
for hospitals, and the Medical Society, and by teaching at the University of
Louisville, School of Medicine. He is also former president of the Louisville
Obstetrics and Gynecology Society.
Dr. Zegart lives in Louisville and enjoys spending more time with his wife, two
grown daughters and four grandchildren. Currently, he is a health care
consultant, an active participant in the Medical Society and a member of the
Louisville Magic Club. His passion for travel and riding a Harley Davidson
motorcycle continues.
