| We are pleased to offer the state of the art in ultrasound technology at our
practice. Our ultrasonographers can obtain the conventional views along with
the new 3-D and 4-D pictures of your baby. The 3-D is an enhanced still picture
of your baby. The 4-D is a brief picture in motion that can be downloaded on a
CD and played on your home computer.
|
| Whenever an ultrasound exam is scheduled we offer the option of obtaining both
3-D and 4-D images. These are available for a nominal charge which will be
explained in greater detail when you are scheduled for your ultrasound.
|
|
The traditional 2-D ultrasound pictures are available for all who receive an
ultrasound, at no additional cost.

| Other helpful information |
| Please arrive 10 minutes early for your exam. In an effort to serve all of our
patients we may have to reschedule anyone who arrives late for their
ultrasound. |
|
We will be happy to try and identify the sex of the baby if you are interested,
but this is best done after 20 weeks and despite our efforts sometimes babies
themselves do not cooperate. Please bear in mind that the sex of the baby is
not the primary focus of our examination.
